After Zahlé, Lebanon 2025

This summer, I had the privilege of serving in Zahlé, Lebanon, alongside Freedom House International (FHI) and their local ministry partners. For three weeks in July, our team was immersed in outreach and evangelism, home visits, and refugee ministry—bringing the love of Christ to people in the midst of immense hardship.

Lebanon is a country facing overwhelming challenges—economic instability, political unrest, and the ongoing refugee crisis. It’s also part of the 10/40 Window, a region where access to the gospel is limited and where so many have never truly heard about Jesus. In Zahlé, the need for hope is tangible. Families are struggling to put food on the table, power cuts are common, and many live in tents or unfinished buildings. Yet, in the middle of this, we saw hearts open to prayer, worship, and the gospel.

We partnered with Warm House Cold Heart, a ministry serving Syrian refugee families displaced by war. Many of these families live in informal tent settlements, often with little access to work or basic resources. We had the opportunity to visit their homes, pray with them, and share the hope of Christ. One of the most impactful moments was spending time with the children in two schools that provide free education and Christian discipleship. Their joy and eagerness to learn—even in the face of so much loss—was humbling and inspiring.

Another highlight was hosting times of prayer and worship. There is something so powerful about lifting up the name of Jesus in a place where the gospel is rarely proclaimed. We also had moments of deep one-on-one conversations, encouraging local believers who are faithfully carrying the gospel forward in their own communities.

This trip was a reminder that ministry looks different in every context. Sometimes it’s preaching to a group, other times it’s sitting in a hot, dimly lit room with a single family, listening to their story, and offering to pray. Both matter. Both are the work of the kingdom.

I’m incredibly grateful for everyone who partnered with me through prayer and support to make this mission possible. Your generosity allowed me to be part of God’s work in Lebanon, and I carry the faces and stories of the people we met in my heart. Please continue to pray for the believers in Lebanon and for the many who have yet to hear the name of Jesus.

Together, we are bringing light into places where hope feels far away. And the light of Christ always shines brightest in the darkest places.

Before Zahlé, Lebanon 2025

This summer, I am excited to share that I will be embarking on my next mission to Lebanon as part of further evangelical work. From July through August, I will be serving alongside Freedom House International (FHI) and their ministry partners to assist with outreach and evangelism efforts, conduct home visits, and support refugee ministry. This mission is particularly significant as it focuses on the 10/40 Window — a region of the world where access to the gospel is limited and where many are in need of spiritual and physical hope.

Now, more than ever, it is critical to share the gospel in Lebanon. The country is facing immense challenges, including economic instability, political unrest, and the ongoing refugee crisis. These conditions have left many people searching for hope, peace, and purpose. Lebanon, though historically significant, remains one of the most spiritually unreached areas in the world. According to recent statistics, less than 1% of the population identifies as evangelical Christian, while approximately 61% of the population follows Islam and around 33% identify as Christian, predominantly from traditional denominations. Furthermore, Lebanon hosts over 1.5 million refugees, making up nearly a quarter of its total population, with many living in poverty and without access to adequate resources. These realities highlight the urgent need to share the gospel and provide hope to those who have yet to hear the message of Christ. This is an opportunity to bring light to a place where darkness and hardship often prevail.

Our journey will begin with team members flying into Dulles or JFK International Airport before traveling together to Zahlé, Lebanon. Once there, we will partner closely with local ministries to build relationships, share the gospel, and support those in need, especially among refugee communities. This work aligns with the mission of Freedom House International, which seeks to bring the message of Christ to the most unreached and vulnerable parts of the world.

While in Lebanon, our team will be working directly with Warm Hearts Cold Houses, a ministry that serves Syrian refugee families who have been displaced due to conflict in their own country. Many of these families live in refugee settlements and struggle to find work and adequate resources. Our work will focus on evangelism, discipleship, and support for vulnerable families. Specifically, we will be ministering to children in two schools that provide free education and Christian discipleship.

In order to participate in this life-changing mission, I am currently fundraising $6,000. This total includes airfare, housing, food, and all logistical costs required to serve on the ground. While this amount feels significant, I trust in God's provision and the generosity of those who feel led to support this ministry.

If you feel called to partner with me financially or through prayer, I would be deeply grateful for your support. Your contributions will help not only to send me to Lebanon but also to make a lasting impact on the lives of those who will hear the gospel and experience the love of Christ through this mission.

Thank you for considering being a part of this journey with me. Together, we can bring hope, healing, and truth to Lebanon and beyond!
